Thursday, June 5, 2008

According to myx channel's commercial, they are going to feature the Jonas Brothers on June 5 in their show called "myx presents". It is (I think) where they feature a band's/singer's songs being played by them and the program runs for an hour. So I waited for June 5 since I am a fan of the Jonas Brothers. No big deal.
Then June 5 came. I watched myx daily top ten. The Jonas Brothers' song "When You Look Me In The Eyes" was on the number 3 spot. I was very happy even though they only ranked three. I stayed tune to myx after their daily top ten.
After an hour, I turned off the tv so it could rest for awhile. At the time I turned it off, I wasn't thinking about the Jonas Brothers appearing on tv in myx. Then after another hour, I was hurrying up on opening the television. When I opened it, the repeat telecast of the day's daily top ten was running. I thought that the Jonas Brothers show was done already; since I already know that one of their songs are in the top ten, I watched again. The only difference is that this time I heard and caught the VJ say to the viewers to not to forget about them showing the Jonas Brothers at 9pm. When I heard that, my spirits came alive. So at that time, since the daily top ten airs 7pm to 8pm, I had an hour to eat dinner and prepare myself in front of the tv. Then when 9pm striked that night, I was very excited so I turned on the tv. I was just in time!
The show was all about their sold-out concert in New York. While I was viewing it on tv, I was singing along, of course. They're my favorite band so far! They started off with "Kids of the Future" and ended it with encore, "Year 3000". In the show, it included their official music video for their song "That's Just The Way We Roll". I also danced when they played SOS. Sadly, they didn't perform "When You Look Me In The Eyes". I searched for answers why they didn't sing it. I got answers that say they didn't do it because their tour was not provided with a piano. But that's cool 'cause they sang almost all the songs from their second album.
After the show, I was completely tired since I was screaming along with the audience, singing along with the Jo Bros, and dancing on my own. While I was making my self feel like one of the audiences, I felt like I was in their real concert! That's why I will never forget this hour-of-my-life experience in front the tv. And this is the main reason why I made this blog.
This is my first entry. And since I only saw them on tv in their concert, I will be spending my allowance wisely this coming schoolyear, 2008-2009 (since I am from the Philippines), so I can buy their third album and better yet, if there are some left from the album, I'm going to spend it on their concert here in the Philippines (hoping that they will come here).
I'm out. Peace.
