Last Post: It's been a long time since when!
Hello Blogger readers!!! Ok, so I owe a lot of stories since my last post.
My last post before Pokemon posts, was a post for Valentine's Day 2013, After posting that, I wanted to share what happened on the 7th February which was a little bit surprising. I received a bouquet of flowers from a classmate. No, he was not my friend, nor was he close to me, nor was he courting me. He only gave me flowers because he was dared by one of our classmates from our 3rd year in college. I only found out about the dare a month after. Anyway, so yeah I was fluttered. But I did not care for the flowers. I let it withered. (I was a little kind to it considering that I stopped myself from throwing it away along the way home.) It was a troublesome baggage to bring home too. So I just thanked God that I got to experience receiving flowers for Valentine's Day, instead of getting mad at the situation, and get even madder when I found out why I got flowers in the first place
Then, I had a little fall then too. I fell for a classmate who was already courting another girl. I cannot believe that I cried for a night because of him and I even PM-ed him of my "feelings". I have to admit that it was embarrassing. I did not imagine myself doing something like that. But I did it. No regrets. And of course, I would like to thank my college best friends for being there and for opening my eyes to what it really was: just a puppy love. :D
Summer 2013, hmmmm.... Let me think back to what happened then... Well, I asked my mom and it seems like we just stayed home for the summer. Nothing special, just my birthday and my brother's. Wait! I remember now, I spent the summer taking my certification for bookkeeping on April. I took the exam on May. Then on June, the result was: just a Passing grade. Well, I did not have a good foundation so I expected just a Passing grade. Also, June 2013 started a new college year: my final year in college.
The only highlight of the first semester of my final year in college was during October 2013. Oh yeah, I received my National Institute of Accounting Technicians membership ID on September :D
But before October, I posted my last posts on this blog about Pokemon dated September 2013.I was super hyped with Pokemon X and Y's release worldwide on October 12, 2013, the first main titles that were released worldwide. After that, it was October when the games were released, and my brother and I were envious of people who actually went out there to by the games, or people who actually had the Nintendo handheld systems to download the games.
The next month finally came: October 2013. OCTOBER WAS THE BOMB! No, we did not get a Nintendo handheld system, and no, it was not the bomb because something good happened. It was the bomb because I had a bomb-astic news delivered to me. I asked for its delivery so it was my choice to be delivered. For the first and last time in forever, I had a failing mark. And it was not just a failing mark, it was a MAJOR subject failing mark. It was a 6-unit subject called Advanced Accounting I. Of course I cried myself out, for 2 days as a matter of fact. I had no one to blame but myself. Why I failed? Well, we had to finish our Feasibility Study to finish before the first Monday of October came, because Monday was the report deadline, and Tuesday was the first day of Defense. I pushed my teammates and myself to finish it by Sunday, which meant, we had to do it overnight. But of course, I have this sickness that comes at me whenever I do not sleep on time at night. So Sunday, we have not finished the study since the overnight was a failure. My teammates ended up chatting with other group teams' member. Sunday afternoon, I felt the toll take on me. Monday to Friday after that Sunday was spent either at home, resting, or in the university hospital, having myself checked up and/or medicated. But "resting" was not really the only thing I did during that supposed 5-day rest. My mind was restless, thinking of my teammates during the defense week. (This is because I am the team leader after all; I felt responsible for them and the study that we put together.) So instead of being able to cure myself faster, I had to take until Friday as day-off. Anyway, Saturday, I came back to class. I missed 2 Advanced Accounting I quizzes. I was forced to take them on that Saturday, simultaneously! Naturally, I did bad on both quizzes since I was not able to study when I was sick and focused on the Feasibility Study Defense. Then October, which is finals week, semester break, grades viewing, and enrollment month, came. I asked my classmate that it is ok to tell me the results of the first semester of that subject. I was really sad that I was not able to post my feelings here since I had my friends, and my family to express myself. Surprisingly, my parents are cool about it. I expected divine punishment from them. But no punishment happened. I was really blessed with family and friends.
Then November 2013, we had our school Retreat at Tagaytay! It was super cold there plus the strong winds. Food was ok, not overall good, or bad. It was a 3 days and 2 nights event. I had so much fun! I felt renewed after the retreat. I came back to appreciate Lion King again (which was the movie used so we can relate to what the priest says). And of course, there was a lot of crying and reflection.
December 2013, my friends and I had our Graduation Picture taken together on the 28th day. Before that, there was the Paskuhan of course.
Fast forward to January 2014!! Out of nowhere, my aunt PM-ed me on Facebook. She asked that if she were to visit the Philippines, what would I ask her to buy for me that is not available in the Philippines. I thought and thought and thought. I consulted my brother about requesting a Nintendo handheld system. Since I was a little shy in asking for a Nintendo 3DS, I asked for a Nintendo 2DS. But it was not just a 2DS, it was a BUNDLED 2DS. And the game that it is bundled with is either Pokemon X or Pokemon Y. My brother and I chose Pokemon Y.
Next is February 2014. I did not receive any flowers this time. But what I had received this month was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than a bouquet of flowers from someone who was just dared to do so. My aunt from the states had arrived, and she brought with her our first Nintendo handheld since our Gameboy Advance SP when we first went to Canada, The handheld system was the Nintendo 2DS bundled with Pokemon Y, which I requested from her. My brother and I were HYPED! We played the game and was able to complete the Kalos Pokedex! Completing the National dex is still a challenge till this day. Also, since our aunt is here, we had dinner outs for a month with her. It was Starbucks every night. IT WAS THE LIFE! :D
March 2014 came. Finals, Baccalaureate Mass, and Graduation March were the main events. Finals, I did great! Bacc Mass was emotional. The theme was: LET IT GO! It was the mass that I ever attended in the University. It touched me so much that I promised to myself to do more than my best in summer class when I get a second chance to take on Advanced Accounting I and its post requisite Advanced Accounting II.
April 2014 was super memorable. First, I was assigned by our college head to organize my batch's summer class. Of course, I did great with the job. I was awesome! I really do believe I have a potential to be a great leader. Second, I met awesome people and they became new friends! I was one of the top students in my Advanced Accounting II, while Advanced Accounting I was not that great. I feared that I will the subject again. Lastly, it was my first and last time to celebrate my birthday in school! I treated my best friends some Shakey's food, and I received a gift of Hershey's Kisses. I really love them :D
May 2014, summer finals, and my brother's birthday. It was a bloody summer finals! When finals results came out, I PASSED BOTH COURSES!! And I was officially a graduate from the University of Santo Tomas. Later that month, it was time for me to look for a job since I have decided not to continue the course to take the CPA Board Exam. I did not have any interest in taking the course anymore. It was too much for me and I know my limitations. (Besides, I did not want to burden my parents anymore. I already have completed my 4-year course, and it was time to work.) Also, my dad went to the USA! It was his first time to go abroad. It was for a month. And when he got back on July, we had a new game to play: Mario Kart 7! :D
June 2014 was all about phone calls and interviews form companies that I applied to last March of the year (which I failed to mention above).
July came and not a single company called for a Job Offer. I came to the lowest point when I went to all the buildings in Makati in one street and had a walk-in application, Then on the later parts of the first week of July, I received a Job Offer from this local bank! It was a bank for the "rich". Anyway, my first day was on July 16, but I was not able to come to work because it was raining hard and the areas going to work were flooded. So my literal first day was July 17. And no, I did not like my first job.
First of all, I felt like the 4 years of hard work studying my course was wasted. The job was an admin work. I was not able to apply my course to it. I felt like I was underemployed; also, yes, I was underpaid. My pay was below minimum wage. Considering my course and my school in college, I knew that I deserved better than being bossed around to type, photocopy, and communicate to other department what my boss tells me to do. I felt like a personal assistant in a bank, So we now fast forward to November.
(Oh yeah, with my first salary ever, I was able to treat my family for dinner with Andok's chicken and barbecue. I was also able to buy a new game for me and my brother: Pokemon Omega Ruby! The game came out November 21, 2014.)
November 2014 was the month when I left the bank. I had enough of it, Although it was hard for me to get detached from my friends at work, I had to resign for my own growth. On the same month, I took on the study sessions for the certification of registered cost accountant.
I took the exam on December, a week after UST's Paskuhan when the whole group came together for the event. Christmas was spent in my dad's province in the north.
New Year was spent here in Manila. I rested for a month before deciding to apply for work. I was waiting for the exam results of the said certification. But my parents wanted for me to apply for jobs already so I do not get to compete with the new grads this year. Still, I enjoyed my stay at home, and did not bother applying for a job. Until...
February 17, 2015 came when I received a very good news from NIAT. The RCA results came in and I passed with a High Distinction grade :D Since then, I updated my resume and started applying for a job from jobstreet.
March 2015, I went to the university to apply for jobs at the job fair. So March, April, and May were all about interviews and job hunting.
April 2015, my family had its first ever car. Because of that, my brother, my father, and I went to driving school. We had to apply first for a student permit of course. It was easy since our car was automatic and so we enrolled for automatic as well.
May 2015 was when we had our driving exam! It was needed to get a non-professional driving license. However, we only got our temporary driver's license because there was no card available at the LTO. We had to wait until July to get the card itself.
Then in June, I finally had my first day at my 2nd work. It is yet again with a bank, but this time, it is with a multinational bank. So I leveled up! I am part of the bank's shared service, with regular hours at work, and no Saturday work (with exceptions on the first Saturdays of the month). I was even able to join in the annual team building of my department at Shercon Resort in Batangas. It was super awesome! I wanted to revisit the place with my family. :D
Now, it is July. my 2nd month with the bank! On my first salary, I treated my teammates to lunch with a delivery from A Magpantay that is just in Makati as well.
I hope that I get to stay with the bank for a long time. I am hoping to use my experience with the bank when I get to enroll for the CMA (Certified Management Accountant) which is my ultimate goal. Then finally using this title to work abroad which is my ultimate dream. When I get to work abroad, little by little, I will be making my way to working with Nintendo which is my dream company to work with since I love their games :D
But for now, I am saving up for a lot of things like future Pokemon titles, my own car, and a new phone :D
So help me God. :D
Here's the link to my new blog called Dunkin' Hershey's Kool Aid where I will be posting from now on :D

since my last post was on Valentine's Day, i thought that posting pokemon-related stuff is inappropriate with the template that i had then.
so i changed the template, as well as the layout, since i can't leave to school without changing them..
and now, i really gotta go!!! i added the pokemon page already but i have not put anything there yet. i will be posting there later when i get home.
see ya!! :D

1 month to go!!!
so i know that it has soooooo long since i have blogged but today is a special day for me as a Pokemon gamer. it is exactly 1 month away from the release date of the new addition to the main series of the pokemon games, The Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. i am super excited because there are many changes that a pokemon gamer would never imagine happening in the main series and the way it is played.
and to celebrate this special 1 month away from the release date, i made a 16-type loop where the Fairy-type is included. but first, i will be showing the 15-type loop that i made last year to celebrate the Pokemon Black and White 2, before Fairy-type was even known to gamers.
i will create a pokemon page on this blog, where i'll be putting the type loops because i am super psyched about everything pokemon now, that even if have a class that starts at 11am later and i have a feasibility study to make, i am allotting much time in pokemon. i know that i will soon regret this for my own future but pokemon is just super epic that i can't help myself from ignoring it for a while and wait till our semester break on October.
so that's it for now. i have to prepare for my class. it's 9:41am now. ciao!!! :D

it's December!!
and it has been a month since i last posted something here. and it's because November was a very busy month! so many things to do everyday and the most unexpected things happened. it was a super month of many surprises! and to think no one even knew they were gonna happen! it was a month of new beginnings i guess. the month that started many things and who knows when those things will end or if they will really end. in all, it was a month of drama, excitement, and happiness :D
so this December, i am sure they these three will continue and who knows, maybe they'll end this month. or maybe they will be even enhanced or downgraded. who knows, really? i am just too excited of what will next to me, to my friends and to our house which is getting a makeover by the way. and Christmas is just around the corner! that's something definite and positive to look forward to :D
HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! :D

happenings this October :D
hello blogger!! my second post for the month and Pink October is almost over! :)
so what has been happening since i haven't post after my October Wish post?
well..
first week was all about preparation. preparation for our Final Examinations the week after. and it was dark times :))) well dark in a sense that i had to study and regain back my focus self from all that distractions. but distractions weren't gone until after my second october wish happened!! :D and that was to watch one of the Finals game of UST vs ADMU :D and i was with my friend who invited another friends and in the end, i gained another friend :D and then we ate dinner at MOA because it was late at night already and we caught up with other friends along the way before we ate :)
then the Final Exams came and goodness! it was exhausting!!! and super cramming was in session! because we had a free day on a Wednesday on that week and all i did was to watch the second game of the UAAP Men's Basketball game in a large screen from school where all other schoolmates watched and cheered for our team! but infortunately our school only landed second place. but it was all good since we got that far and that was great in itself. i feel sorry though for our graduating players since they weren't able to feel what it was like to be part of the champion team :P but all in all, they were great! and i guess the opposing team was great since they were able to make it to their 5th straight win! :) happy for them but then i realized i had to go back to studying if i want to pass my final exams. and so the struggle to the finish line continued until it was finally over when after the Saturday exam ended :D
on that Saturday, we had our group's annual sleepover/drinking sessions ;D and it was FUN!!! :D we had a different location this time and it was great since we had snacks to eat and a new friend to join us and the salsa was great! -- which was made by our host friend's mom! and i had to bring home some because it was super delish! and then it was my first time to be fully drunk like hell! i was not in my mind half the time! i was crazying around and some things i can't remember like how i got in the bed :)) and good thing wearing off my contact lens wasn't a hustle at all :D the next morning, i was still dizzy and when i got home, i had a severe case of hangover like i couldn't stay awake and getting through that one-hour mass with the family was impossible that i had to get home asap so i can continue resting and sleeping whcih is what i mainly did on that whole Sunday.
my hangover ran for 2 days straight and i was cured until Tuesday when all that headache, dizziness and heavy head got out already. what happened next was something as bad as the hangover; my stomach got acidic. i was avoiding carbonated drinks and anything sour for three days! that's from Tuesday till Friday! and i didn't want to take the some ascorbic acid for my vitamins because it only meant more acid in my stomach. i was releasing liquidy waste which i will not go further into detail :P then it stopped at last and i begin going back to dipping grilled foods onto some vinegar.
but before i was normal, the family decided to celebrate my parents' 20th anniversary at the SM North EDSA Annex to play bowling on the day itself which was a Wednesday! :) and it was uber fun!!! :) my brother was good since he had it as his PE last sem and my dad was a pro even though he only learned how to bowl just by looking at his officemates play when they had a company outing before when i was a child. my mom was always lofting which was not allowed but no one dared to tell her since it was the only way she knew how to bowl and with that she even made some strikes and spares. and lastly, the only member who doesn't have any clue on how to play bowling was me :)) and it was pressure at the same time fun whenever it was my turn to bowl. i would always get a gutter or if i did get some pins down, many would be left and i only had one strike the whole time were bowling :))
then i was normal again come Saturday. but it was a dreaded one since it was the viewing of the grades! and i was super nervous to know if i had failing marks or not! and my Law 1 subject was the one that i was having doubts with because i knew i wasn't at my best every time we had quizzes and during the exams as well. so i was completely nervous to the point of being negative about it and tweeting stuff like how can i tell my parents that i failed Law and how my life would be having studying the same subject again next semester. then when i finally accessed to my grades -- which was not as easy as you think since it was online and there was traffic with the server not functioning well -- i was fully relieved!!! i had not failing marks!!! :D and i thanked Lord for that and my computer teacher who gave me a 1.25. i follow him on twitter and he follows me back so we're kinda friends :D and he told me that i was one of the highest on the written exams and i thanked him for being a good teacher and he said that i was just flattering him which was half true and half false :)) and it was fun to tweet with him :) i tell myself that if i meet him again along the halls of our building in school or on the roads of the school itself, i'll totally greet him! :D
and i shouldn't miss out on mentioning this. it is not on my October Wish but it is part of my Gamer Wish. and that is to play and finish the Pokemon Black and White 2 this semester break as quickly as possible!! and my brother and i only took about 5 days to defeat the game and there were no distractions, two more days for the post-game stuff to do like catching legendary Pokemon Zekrom and Kyurem. and playing pokemon was my stress-reliever since i was stressing out on what if i failed even one subject. so my attention got diverted somehow and it was effective :D and we defeated the game last October 22 which was the day after i hanged out with the adults.
i was invited by my mom to jog in the morning with her high school friends who are her friends till forever. and so i said yes because i had nothing to do really and i just finished reading Perks which i will discuss later and i just saw my no-failure-marks grades and i wanted to celebrate it! so i woke up early and took a bath and took a taxi to Quezon Memorial Circle where we will be jogging with my mom's friends. then when we saw them finally, they finished already and i can't say we were too late because looking fro them in the circle, what part of the circle they were chilling out was hard to know where so my mom and i looked for them the whole hour so it was like jogging but just walking with my mom exploring the circle. then when we met up with them, we just ate our breakfast, talked about their trip to Palawan on October 30 until November 4 and how my mom can't come and how i should take her place since i look like her and i am pretty much close now to her friends. but after that, i decided to invite my mom's friend's daughter to come with and see the inside of the museum. then we went in and looked at all the stuff there is about Manuel Quezon, our first President of the Commonwealth. then after we knew about him, we went out back to the our meeting place with the adults -- our moms -- and we saw her siblings who came along and now adults were on site. according to her sibling, the adults went and ate "lugaw" and left them there. and it was about to rain then so while waiting under the shades of a cottage-like structure, i took the opportunity to read but no luck because the adults showed up and got us in their cars and my mom and i got in as well and we went to SM North EDSA with her 2 friends :)) then we were checking out on cameras, celphone deals and sim cards and phone networks and other gadgets like tablets, chargers, laptop cases.
until we decided to watch a local movie called This Guy's In Love With You Mare -- a gay who tries to wreck a relationship between his ex-boyfriend and the guy's current girlfriend so the guy can go back to the gay. the gay's plan was funny!!! :)) super! the gay pretended to be a guy who will pursue the girl then make her fall for the gay; and if this is successful, the girl will eventually break up with the guy and the gay can have the guy again. but turns out, the guy really loves the girl. and even if the girl was really mad about finding out the truth that the one pursuing her is gay and her boyfriend had a relationship with the gay, the guy never stopped going after the girl. the gay realized that the girl was nice and that he'll give up on the guy since the guy really loves the girl. in the end, the girl and the guy gets married and the gay who thought has found his love found out that that guy who he thought was the one for him is a priest. so it was super funny and i watched that movie with the adults :D
then going back, because of that relief feeling after playing Pokemon, i was able to finish reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower :) which was a dream come true for the my first October Wish :) and it was a good book to read. all you have to do is to be open about every issue a teen would have in his teenage life because that's what the book is all about: teenage issues. then with that, i started reading The Catching Fire; second book of Hunger Games series. if there weren't any distractions that week, i would have finished it in three days :P but of course, it was semester break so i had other things to do and places to go to :)
so i finished the book, yep in three days. but not straight three because i started the book on a Monday then Tuesday then on that Wednesday was our college's clearance day so i wasn't able to read since i had to go to school and i helped out buying materials for our college week this coming semester and i went to stay in my friend's apartment after and it was all fun! :)
then the next day was our college's enrollment day and i got to school so early that there wasn't a line yet and i had to wait for my other friends to finish their enrollment so we can have lunch that early in the morning and hang out and meet up with other friends in our building. then i went home early since it was raining at school and the wind was strong like another storm will come so we decided to leave early and some friends stayed to wait for our other friends to finish their enrollment. so i bought some lunch again and i was home alone. i have not the energy to read since the tv was on because Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 was showing on HBO and i couldn't possibly miss it even though i have watched it already with my brother. so i just tweeted while watching and quoting lines from the movie that i liked. then i got a message from my best friend to call her up. so i did. since i was alone at home, it was better for me to talk to someone than just watch the tv.
when i called her on the phone like we usually do as part of our awesome friendship, we talked about our lives in our first semester and how we were around people. and how we were with our crushes. and how were both home alone that's why she asked me to call her up. and how we were both hungry and looking for food in our own houses. and how we would be for dinner since we have no one yet with us when it was already evening. and how we missed the Jonas Brothers Concert which was a big thing for us since we are fans and the band played a big part of our friendship. and how we were teasing each other about our crushes. and how i told her about the issues that this particular college friend of mine has. and how she thought somehow mocking him was funny. and how she would definitely fit in in my college group of friends when she gets to meet them. then we hang up when my dad came home finally because i was too scared to be alone then because it was finally dark outside and i was alone at home. and if it weren't for the phone call with my best friend, i would totally be super scared then.
so the next day Friday, was i thought was about rebuilding the house since it was a holiday for the end of Ramadan and we were promised that someone that our laundry lady knows will be volunteering for the rebuilding of the walls of the house. but then he didn't show up as agreed so my dad who wanted it so much decided that we should totally go bowling again!! :)) and it was fun i tell you! because this time my dad told me and showed me how to knock those pins dead and all i had to do was listen to him and do as he says. so i did and voila! i got a handful of spares!!! and a strike! how can that possibly happen when i did only what i was told to do? then i remembered how my dad was to learn by just watching his colleagues play and how he was a pro for me as well and how obeying and believing in what he says i should do will give me some of those spares and a strike. and true enough, even though he was somehow limping since his leg or knee was tired from the last time's bowling, he was still able to get 100 plus points and that only made me want to idolize him in bowling. so wasn't able to read on this Friday as well.
then the fun never ended with eating and other activities! on that day Friday when we had our second time around bowling, we never stopped eating while waiting for our reservation at 5pm in Bowling. it was nonstop! we had lunch at Bario Fiesta, merienda at Army Navy and snacks with Brownies! and we bowled until like 10pm and we still ate ''dinner" at Jollibee with spaghetti for my mom, my dad had a cheese burger and my brother and i had crispy chicken wings with fries which was new for the fast food. then we head home. i wore off my contacts asap so i can sleep already because i was tired like the rest of the family was. then Saturday came and it was the day when i finally finished reading the Catching Fire!! :D
so yeah. that Saturday was dedicated to finishing Catching Fire and i finally did! and i was super happy because that meant continuing with Mockingjay! i was expecting to start reading it the Sunday then but my mom wanted us to go jogging again at the Memorial Circle so we did and this time with my brother. so we went and we were earlier than last time so while my brother and I joined the jog with the others who were already jogging around the circle, my mom decided to stay at the Flower Garden to join in the aerobics people with their crazy mix of pop songs as their background music. my brother and i jogged for the first round then walked then jogged then walked until i went to the washroom. he continues with jogging and i agreed meeting up where my mom was dancing with the crowd. then we met up, we walked then jogged and walked again until we went for breakfast in the bazaar. i ate barbecue with rice, my brother ate "lugaw" and my mom ate "lumpian shanghai". then we went to buy buko juice and hotdog. then we bought a neat shuttlecock so we can play badminton! and we did! and it was fun because the last time we remembered playing badminton was about last 7 years ago but i am exaggerating. maybe just 5 years ago, not sure though. anyway, then we went on for 30 mins then we jogged again. then after jogging fro two rounds, my brother 4, we cleaned up and checked out the museum. then after that, we took a cab, stopped by the church, then head home for good but got some groceries along the way. then we were beat. we took a nap then watched tv. i tweeted. waited for the lady who manicures and pedicures the family then watched a little more tv before finally going to bed to rest my body.
that leads us to this morning. woke up at around 9:15am and tweeted stuff. tweeted about how annoying my cousin is, copying my every move, my every tweet, my every crush. she's been following me since we were young. wherever i went she tails around. whenever i do things, she does them as well. whenever i eat something, she wants one as well. whatever i wear, she's gotta have the same thing too. so now, that we follow each other on twitter, i see how she tries to copy me. she even followed my crush as well. this i don't get since my crush is a university basketball player and you'll know him if you watch the games on tv and if you don't have cable i don't think you know him. i just feel like.. does she want him as her crush as well because of what she sees on my tweets that i am crushing about him and i am very vocal about it? goodness. it's ok if i knew that she was watching as well, that she also knows about the games, that she tweets about them as well like me. but that's not the case. worse comes to worst, she;s gonna retweet stuff that he retweets and i am super gonna question her about that when she does. because i think she just wants us to have a common crush but i don't want how she wants it to be. it's not natural like that. i think she should just be original on her own and stop copying me already because we aren't kids now. as you can see, i like to be as unique and original as possible and i don't like it when someone copies me especially without my permission. i guess maybe, i don't like the idea that she's into the same things as i am because we are from different parts of the world. and having been interested in the same things is questionable. and if she's using me as her idol to look cool and all, thanks but i rather not have some idolize me and copy me because i like to be original and if you copy me it's like plagiarism and if you look at my facebook posts, you'll see how i super dislike plagiarism.
wow! i guess it was a good move not telling anyone i know except for my best friend about my blog. this is the place for me to rant, to share anything i can't share on facebook because my relatives and parents are my friends there and to share anything i can't on twitter when i want to say something about those people who i follow and follow me back like my cousin who loves to copy me. so i feel relieved again that this has been shared to anyone who are not my friends on facebook and who are not following me on twitter. at least you guys are people who just like to read stuff about me and i guess in that way i kind of talked to a person who just sits there in front of their monitor or screens, listening to my rants and my feelings and my experiences :D so thanks to those who keep on viewing my blog even though i don't get any feedback except for the stats that i see about how many people visit my blog and what countries most of them come from and what they read on my posts :)
so that's for the whole month of October!!! it's almost November and i have to say, my dad did not allow me to go by myself with the adults who are my mom's high school friends to Palawan. so my only activity before resuming of classes this coming November 5 will be reading and hopefully finishing Mockingjay and still continue tweeting and probably watch some movies if ever i get a chance to get my hands on my dad's external hard disk where my movies were transferred to so my laptop will be free from those heavy loaded movies :) that is all for the month! see you on November with it's yellow theme!! adios! till then!! :D
so what has been happening since i haven't post after my October Wish post?

so yeah. that Saturday was dedicated to finishing Catching Fire and i finally did! and i was super happy because that meant continuing with Mockingjay! i was expecting to start reading it the Sunday then but my mom wanted us to go jogging again at the Memorial Circle so we did and this time with my brother. so we went and we were earlier than last time so while my brother and I joined the jog with the others who were already jogging around the circle, my mom decided to stay at the Flower Garden to join in the aerobics people with their crazy mix of pop songs as their background music. my brother and i jogged for the first round then walked then jogged then walked until i went to the washroom. he continues with jogging and i agreed meeting up where my mom was dancing with the crowd. then we met up, we walked then jogged and walked again until we went for breakfast in the bazaar. i ate barbecue with rice, my brother ate "lugaw" and my mom ate "lumpian shanghai". then we went to buy buko juice and hotdog. then we bought a neat shuttlecock so we can play badminton! and we did! and it was fun because the last time we remembered playing badminton was about last 7 years ago but i am exaggerating. maybe just 5 years ago, not sure though. anyway, then we went on for 30 mins then we jogged again. then after jogging fro two rounds, my brother 4, we cleaned up and checked out the museum. then after that, we took a cab, stopped by the church, then head home for good but got some groceries along the way. then we were beat. we took a nap then watched tv. i tweeted. waited for the lady who manicures and pedicures the family then watched a little more tv before finally going to bed to rest my body.
that leads us to this morning. woke up at around 9:15am and tweeted stuff. tweeted about how annoying my cousin is, copying my every move, my every tweet, my every crush. she's been following me since we were young. wherever i went she tails around. whenever i do things, she does them as well. whenever i eat something, she wants one as well. whatever i wear, she's gotta have the same thing too. so now, that we follow each other on twitter, i see how she tries to copy me. she even followed my crush as well. this i don't get since my crush is a university basketball player and you'll know him if you watch the games on tv and if you don't have cable i don't think you know him. i just feel like.. does she want him as her crush as well because of what she sees on my tweets that i am crushing about him and i am very vocal about it? goodness. it's ok if i knew that she was watching as well, that she also knows about the games, that she tweets about them as well like me. but that's not the case. worse comes to worst, she;s gonna retweet stuff that he retweets and i am super gonna question her about that when she does. because i think she just wants us to have a common crush but i don't want how she wants it to be. it's not natural like that. i think she should just be original on her own and stop copying me already because we aren't kids now. as you can see, i like to be as unique and original as possible and i don't like it when someone copies me especially without my permission. i guess maybe, i don't like the idea that she's into the same things as i am because we are from different parts of the world. and having been interested in the same things is questionable. and if she's using me as her idol to look cool and all, thanks but i rather not have some idolize me and copy me because i like to be original and if you copy me it's like plagiarism and if you look at my facebook posts, you'll see how i super dislike plagiarism.
wow! i guess it was a good move not telling anyone i know except for my best friend about my blog. this is the place for me to rant, to share anything i can't share on facebook because my relatives and parents are my friends there and to share anything i can't on twitter when i want to say something about those people who i follow and follow me back like my cousin who loves to copy me. so i feel relieved again that this has been shared to anyone who are not my friends on facebook and who are not following me on twitter. at least you guys are people who just like to read stuff about me and i guess in that way i kind of talked to a person who just sits there in front of their monitor or screens, listening to my rants and my feelings and my experiences :D so thanks to those who keep on viewing my blog even though i don't get any feedback except for the stats that i see about how many people visit my blog and what countries most of them come from and what they read on my posts :)
so that's for the whole month of October!!! it's almost November and i have to say, my dad did not allow me to go by myself with the adults who are my mom's high school friends to Palawan. so my only activity before resuming of classes this coming November 5 will be reading and hopefully finishing Mockingjay and still continue tweeting and probably watch some movies if ever i get a chance to get my hands on my dad's external hard disk where my movies were transferred to so my laptop will be free from those heavy loaded movies :) that is all for the month! see you on November with it's yellow theme!! adios! till then!! :D

yep, believe it or not, in the future, i want to have a collection of these :D
benefits forgone = opportunity cost
that's how my cost accounting professor defined opportunity cost -- benefits forgone :)
and now, it is super applicable more than ever!
the benefits forgone
today, i was suppose to be buying tickets with classmates for the Semi-finals game this Saturday, September 29 (UST vs. NU). but my friend texted me that we should instead watch our friends' general assembly, because we weren't able to buy Patron seats tickets and two of our friends who supposedly will be watching the game with us aren't sure if they are gonna get a permission to attend their class in the evening instead of having it in the afternoon. before receiving that text from her and since i was desperate to watch the game this Saturday, i chatted my classmate who i saw posting on facebook that he, together with 2 other classmates of ours, are gonna watch the game! my want to watch the game was overwhelming that asked that classmate if i can join him and two other classmates to watch the game! they all said yes and i was relieved... until, my friend texted me to watch the general assembly instead. so i was not feeling comfortable with the idea that i will be watching the game not with my friends but with classmates. and i felt super bad that i would be watching the game live and they wouldn't even though they wanted to watch as well. so awhile ago, an hour before we got dismissed in our last class, i asked for an advice from two of my trusted friends who are also my classmates. i asked what would they prioritize, their want or their time with friends? the other said i should pick my want because it is what i want anyway. and the other, who i trust even more, said that i should watch the GA because these are my friends and there will be more games to come. that friend of mine who i trusted even more knows that i super want to watch these games live and her knowing that part of me and advising what she had advised helped me in deciding not to watch to game and watch the GA instead :D
now, that i got home from school, i chatted a classmate who was one of those who i was suppose to watch the game. i asked if they were able to buy tickets.. and she said yes! and i was half disappointed and like part of me died because i super wanted to watch the game and this could be the last game for our school's team if they lose. but what made me feel better was the thought that i will be with my best buddies in college who i consider as part of my many best friends and i will be there to support them in their performances! :D
so i am still happy whatsoever. the benefit of watching the game live can't replace a guilt-free feeling that i am with my friends and i am gonna be happy with them :D
the cost of the opportunity to watch the last game of the month live is less than the good vibes that i get when i am with my friends doing that one thing that i always do best: supporting them :D
