What My Name Says About Me

this app in facebook just scared the hell out of me because it was too accurate :DD

it's because it is true. i do sometimes or most of the times because i have to say, i kind of or really sometimes judge a book by its cover. it's because it is inevitable. i notice even the smallest details that i can't possibly just bottle up all those tiny details or else i might explode! hehe. just kidding. i won't explode. i'm not even half fat.

about the second sentence, i do need to do that. because most of the times or maybe a couple of times, i suffer because at those times, i don't even think about my own feelings. because sometimes, i'm too nice which is bad. because of this, there are times when i give the last one i have and end up with nothing.

and the last sentence is super true! i have been facing so many challenges. i am currently challenged to regret nothing and just be happy with what i have now. i guess i feel bitter about one thing. that one thing is something that i always thought that i have moved on from. it's about being admitted at the country's state university.

you see, since i am the eldest, just like the science experiments, i am the experimental variable that is to be tested to see if a theory is correct. this means that if they believe in this, and wonder if it applies to this, i am the one who gets experimented with. (you get it, right. i don't have to elaborate on this) anyway, so since that is always the case, sometimes, it is a good thing that i was first to try so i will be the FIRST to experience it. but most of the times, it is a bad thing because as we all know, when we do trial and error method, there is a very high probability that we will get a wrong answer. that is me. whenever my parents experience something new, because of the advancement that is occurring in our generation, they try whatever it is that they think is the right way on me. which sucks. because most of the times, they get the negative results from me and so to avoid the same mistake, they already know what to do and my younger brother gets the positive results. thing is, there is a review center that can help you to pass the state university's entrance exam. so, since my parents are like: that's too expensive for a review center and the review center itself is far from home and you are a girl. even if you passed, you can't go anyway because it is too far and we can't let you live in a dorm. that's what they said.

and so, in short, i didn't even try to give effort into passing the entrance exam of the state university. because i knew of these things that my parents had to say and i was discouraged... NOT! i didn't have hope anyway. in the first place, i reviewed for entrance exams in my high school itself. and they lack in the topics that have to be reviewed for the exam. and the environment was so lax! didn't have motivation. in the review center, they had quizzes once every meeting. no wonder! tsk. so i am bitter. only when the subject comes up the surface. and i am not afraid to tell my parents face to face that i do regret not being able to pass the state university's entrance exam. because i told them that my friends from high school are offering me to be part of a bundle that has a lower fee but at the same time has the right things to teach for entrance exams. but they refused. told me that it was expensive and the review is far. but remembered clearly that i told them that i was going to the center with a friend who lives nearby. so, i was and still am and will be the trial child :(( as long as i'm still studying and there are still upcoming advancements, i will always be the trial child.

and the sad part is that i am still happy about the fact that my brother was able to pass the state university's entrance exam. i pretend that i am ok and not jealous at my brother. yeah sure. why shouldn't i be happy? i was the one who brought him to the review center and had to wait there for 5 hours until his review is done for the day. why wait for that long? well, i am not familiar with the place, so i don't know how to go about it. but it doesn't matter because he passed! :D and all my waiting was worth it. since i am bitter about that, all i can be happy about is that i am having fun right now in the university that i am going to because of my awesome best friends. another thing that i can be happy about and forget about that bitterness is that my brother just passed that freaking entrance exam! hayzzz... i want to feel what he feels right now because whether i like it or not he has a lot of bragging rights with him right now. he just passed freaking state university where all the graduates don't have to apply for job because those job will have to fight for you.

now, aside from no having an edge since i am not studying in the state university, i still have to put a lot of effort so jobs will fight for me as well. about that, i think my chances of experiencing that is lessened since i will be taking the retention exam this summer. that's right. i screwed up the first semester but i passed; i just wasn't able to reach the minimum grade to have to not take the retention exam. so, yeah.

because of all of this,  i am working my butt off! ........ NOT REALLY! well, at least not always. but whenever there is something to be done for school, i always feel like giving it more than my all.  and since the tuition fee is more than twice of the state university's, i am obliged to show my parents that i am worth it. that is what i have to put up with since i didn't pass the state university's entrance exam. i have to prove myself. i have to be positive. i have to reach a goal that is SUPER DUPER HIGH! almost impossible to reach is what i say. but there is a probability to reach if i give super duper extra effort.

talk about myself! i guess i am an expert when it comes to myself. i mean, if there is anyone who knows me the best, it's only me and God. even, God knows me more than i know myself. so He knows what i am capable of. and He won't give me any challenge that i can't surpass with flying colors. that is why, i am not losing hope. even when i knew i wasn't going to study in the state university, i had the last drop of hope in me. there was little hope but i still had hope. and i guess part of me was to be blamed. i guess since i had little hope, i didn't give it my all... or did i. all i know is that i answered the exam with everything that i know. so, perhaps, what i know wasn't enough. i still have to learn. that is why i keep an open mind. if i don't, there is no room for improvement and i will not become a better person.

so that's me. feeling bitter here and then when the topic is surfaced. but truthfully, feeling happy and proud of the fact that my brother made it. and i guess that this is all God's plan and indeed, i am learning from the mistake of not having that much hope. also, since God can see that i am giving my effort now, He gave me awesome friends who help me forget about transferring schools or forget about being bitter of that experience.

i am now feeling much better. well, better since the topic is going to be surfaced for the week since my brother passed and the results just came in yesterday.  so if ever the bitterness starts to show up, i'll just have to think about the awesome things that i have with my college best friends especially the things that happened starting about 6 and a half hours ago and ended 2 hours later that time.

we stayed for 2 hours in our friend's apartment to celebrate the end of preliminary exams for the semester. we had milk tea from Moon Leaf and there wintermelon with pudding is good. music played in my friend's room and we were singing and dancing and laughing about past experiences which are of course funny to imitate :))) especially the one that i did in the library. that is another story but really, i love my friends. they make my day :D

and oh yeah! i told three of them about this blog's site and maybe they'll read this so, HI FRIENDS! :D

and that is what my name says about me. A LOT! it says so much that it was too accurate. and because it was accurate and precise as well, i was able to reflect about myself and come to accept that this is me and somehow i guess i have to change my down sides and strengthen my up sides, learn from my mistakes and rejoice from the right things i do, and avoid to revenge and regret and remember to always forgive and forget like i always do :D

i'm out! PEACE! :D CONGRATZ TO MY BROTHERHOOD! :DDDD

Time to get serious

I have to study really hard for this year because this the year when we'll know whether I am going to be in the course that I want or not.

The thing is, there is a problem on how my best friend and I are going home after we watch Miley Cyrus' concert this Friday. I just hope our friend who is also going to the concert agrees to drop me and my best friend to our respective homes. If not then I can't go to the concert. The thing is, my best friend and I already bought tickets for the concert and we can't possibly refund those tickets. Arrrrrgggg!!!!! I just hope someone would drive us home.....

The connection of his in getting serious is I won't allow myself to lose my parents' trusts. If I do then they won't trust me with anything anymore in the future. I don't want that. It's time to be mature because being serious means being mature. I have to show them that I am a responsible daughter who is reliable and is acting on her age. I have to admit that I am already an adult and being an adult means being serious and mature.

I hope this will turn out good and I hope my dad will not get mad at me. If he gets mad, then definitely, I am screwed up.

i am down down down down down...

psh. kainis!

this is so irritating.

why do i have o be part of something that i don't like?

two friends of mine are going to give a surprise gift for our friend's 18th birthday this month of May.

it's irritating because they have not done anything like that for me when i had my 18th birthday last month April. IT'S UNFAIR! so i didn't want to take any part of it. we were suppose to do it for her but i forgot about it over the weekend so we haven't planned anything... at least nothing that i am aware of. anyway, if they did got her that present, then it's fine with me. it doesn't matter.

it's disappointing in general. i don't get to have really BIG greeting cards or videos for me or some stuff or anything that alot of people have put together for my birthday. that's why, i always feel jealous whenever i see BIG cards signed by classmates for another classmate's birthday or see them make a video for a friend's birthday or see a friend receiving an awesome gift from a her really close friend or see people make plans for a surprise party for a friend's birthday.

honestly, i didn't feel like this before since i felt like i didn't need anything like those for my birthday. besides, my birthday is on the summer vacation. but that doesn't mean they can't think of those things for me. if they really are my friends then it will cross their minds that a friend's birthday is coming and how about a memorable way to celebrate it.

i just felt like this suddenly when i realised that things are getting unfair. i signed some of those really BIG cards that passes me in the classroom, and i am willing to be part of any surprise parties for a friend, and i am suppose to be in a video presentation for a friend's birthday but didn't want to be part of it because i realised that why would i do something like this when i don't even get one of these for my birthday?????

i have decided not to sign any really BIG cards for anyone's birthday except if it were for my best friend or any family member. if ever i'm going to be part of a surprise party, i guess i have no choice but to come unless i'm not really close to the dude or dudette then i am not coming.

and then, there is always a part of me that says otherwise.

it seems like my friends don't see me as someone to be given these things on my birthday. it seems like these things don't fit me and my personality.

but that's just me. i don't really know what they think of me. i wish i knew why they don't think about giving me those things for my birthday.

hay... maybe it's me. what is it about me that makes them not do those things? don't i deserve to have or experience to have one of those things???

DO I SCARE THEM??

:((

She's Dating The Gangster

I just finished reading this story (which can be read in this link: http://www.candymag.com/teentalk/index.php/topic,146225.0.html) and i can't comment on the status of my friend who suggested us to read this because i might spoil the moment for those who have not done reading it yet. so i'll just put my comment here! :)

grabe! kakatapos ko lang basahin nito ngayon-ngayon lang.
nakakaiyak sa last parts when she was about to say goodbye and when she was
FAIL!!!!!
:) unless of course di nag-confess si Athena from her sins sa pari, then,
magkakasama talaga sila sa hell...

from okay to suck! :P PEACE!

just when i was beginning to appreciate Simon Curtis, i read comments about an article on Adam Lambert tapping him to a New Album. the comments, in my opinion, spoke of half truth. and i believed some of the things that were said.

you see, every time i read something, i make sure that i comprehend and analyse every detail. and when i have comprehended and analysed in my own judgement, i always ask myself what do i feel about the topic, before and after i read something about it.

and true enough, when people write something, they either inform, entertain, influence, express or a combination of any of these. and i think, the comments that i read influenced me on how i look at Simon Curtis now.

i guess i wasn't able to point out what i really felt when i heard his album so i said that it was ok. then the comments just spoke to me and opened my eyes and let me see what i really thought of Simon Curtis' album...

IT SUCKED!

but i already downloaded the album. and i am not letting it be thrown in the recycle bin; otherwise, the battery that was wasted because of downloading his album will be put into waste. and i don't want to stop listening to his music just because it really sucks.

but don't get me wrong, i still kinda like him for looking the way he looks. although some of his pictures scare me, i still, KINDA, like him :D

unlike Joe Jonas who changed his look by having a dirty face, that is his face full of hair. GROSS! i really don't like guys who have too much hair on their faces. it is like they are all messed up in so many levels. that's the reason why i don't like Joe anymore. sucks on him. doesn't he know that in the business where he is in now requires him to look good and attract people so he can sell? hmph. he just lost a fan. but i am not a big lost to him. i am just 1 over a gazillion fans that he still has.

BUT I DON'T LIKE HIM ANYMORE :P

April is here! :P

IT'S APRIL!!! And it's 10 days from my 18th birthday. in Filipino tradition, they do things like a debut party for girls. i for one set myself into thinking that i should not have one because i don't how it works and i will not attempt to find out. it is okay for me to attend friends' debuts but i am not planning to have one. i don't think it's my style to do such thing because yes, i am a social person but i don't think my friends that are new and old be able to jive in feel comfortable if they are all gathered in one place. also, if they are gathered in one place where i happen to be in, i won't know which of the the groups of friends should i talk to. what if i over talk with the other group and the other feels left out. i don't want that and maybe i'll just gather them someday that is not on my 18th birthday. i am not yet ready to gather them all, though i already have lots.

today, on my agenda, i have to pick up my younger brother's report card then go to the dentist so she can remove my braces and probably replace them with retainers or remove them for good. after these, i'm going to resume to my training program that i am having with our (my brother's and mine) Black and White Pokemon. speaking of training programs, i might have an actual program of tutoring. if the word tutor will cross my dentist's mind, then i would be engaged, this summer in tutoring her daughter in mathematics. i don't how it will work, i mean how the scheduling will happen so i'll just leave it to the future to surprise me.

talk about school, i have seen my report grades online. grades not card because it was in a software form. so there were no cards given. this coming friday, i will be going to school to get cleared and get the hard copy of clearance.

then back to friends, i will be hanging out with my best friend this Wednesday, at the TriNoMa after lunch -- looking forward to this :D

so now, after my brother finishes his bath, it will be my turn so we can get his report card as early as possible.

byie! :D

scary! :(

something that i noticed about myself...

i reflect before, during, and after i do something happy or sad, big or small, good or bad. and i see something that is happening to me.

i tend to be better at the English language when i'm feeling all negative. it's like a reflex or an involuntary reaction when i am really mad, or feeling bad. it's inevitable. i can't control it.

i don't know if that's good. but i'm sure that it does me better in writing in the English language. it doesn't affect on how fluent i speak in the English language since i am better at writing down my inner thoughts and feelings than saying them out loud.

anyway, that's a discovery that i saw just now. i wish i saw it before so i had confidence in writing.

that's it for now. i'm in a bad mood tonight. PEACE! :|

nothing that's too serious

so the start of the second semester is not up until november 10 and my brother's semester break ends today. so i am all alone again. i've been alone since the start of my semester break and i haven't seen my best friend since we went to watch Despicable Me. hay. she went to Hong Kong last october 24, the day after we went to Island Cove. we were suppose to meet and have fun on our high school family day but it was the same day as the Island Cove thing. and the bad part is that i won't be able to watch Harry Potter 7 part 1 with her because she made plans already. now, i am forcing my brother to watch it with me. poor dude, since he is the youngest and i'm the eldest, he has to watch that movie even though he has little interest in it. anyway, that's not what i told my best friend. i told her that i would be watching that movie with my block mates in college. the real thing is, i haven't told them about seeing the movie with them but i am sure that they would love to because as a group, my friend block mates and i haven't had any major outings before and we would LOVE to have one. so when the semester break ends and it's time to meet my friends in college again, i would suggest the movie :D

that's it for now. i have to take a bath before i eat lunch. k! :)

Oh My SCORES!!!

i have to study MORE!!!

my study habits that i used to do when i was in high school ARE NOT working in college.

i have to renew it... BUT THAT'S GONNA TAKE SOME TIME!

i have to study harder, man!

my grades are not that pleasant to see.

i don't think i'm getting high grades this sem.

and it's just my FIRST SEM in COLLEGE.

i don't think i can hold on till next school year :(

but then again, i have to think positive! :)

i have to do better in the Preliminaries!

so now, I'M DOING THE BEST I CAN!

not now. i still feel lazy... i'm resting...

so much for dreaming about being a CPA.....

anyway, like what the song says,

"It's the only time I (you) got so I (you) got to live it BIG TIME!"

time for me to study.

and i am serious about doing better in the Prelims Exams.

see you in august! :D

MY 17th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!!!

IT'S MY SEVENTEENTH BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!

just got older again! :D

who: my whole family (mama, papa, darwin, and me!)
what: my birthday!
where: TriNoMa!
when: April 14, 2010!
why: to have family bonding and celebrate my birthday!!!
how: enjoy time together!

notice that every line is in their factorial form. and today is april fourteen twenty-ten. so why the heck so i still have time to surf the net, you may ask. the reason is that darwin, mama and i are going to watch Clash of the Titans later @ 2:15pm in Cinema 3. we are just killing time here in netopia. i have already awatched the movie with my best friend and a friend last April 10. i am watching it again because my brother wanted to see the movie with me. so.... WHY NOT!!! also, my dad isn't with the three us YET!!! this is because he is at work and will join the three of us later during dinner time in Gerry's Grill. he'll probably takethe train leading to here in trinoma.

so, it is 1:15pm already. we only have an hour left till the movie starts and i still have 36minutes left to stay here in the cafe with my brother. mom is checking the celluar phones displayed outside the cafe. if i get lucky, i might have MY OWN cellphone today!!! it is costs more or less 5000PhP. it greatly depends on my mom's salary and/or my dad's mood today. if mom's salary is added to what she already has in her credit card within this day, then i'll get my phone. OR if my dad is in good shape when we meet later on and that we are all in good conditions, then i'll get my phone! right now, i just can't wait on what's going to happen later. will i get my phone today or will i still have to wait until next month and the next month and the next month........ and so on.

now, i still have 30 minutes left. i already checked my facebook account today and saw that many people cared about my birthday today. they wrote on my wall to greet me a happy birthday and i replied to every single person who did write. i thanked them in general and some others got some little "how are you"'s, "i love you"'s and "i miss you"'s from me as well! :D i have checked on what's new in my favorite site: fuckyeahmath.tumblr.com. the new once are funny as well as the others (as usual)!

mmmm.... what to do for the next 25 minutes??? fine. i'll just visit sites that i used to visit before i met facebook and blogger. k! BYIE!!!!!

it's sad but true :(

Saturday...

i woke up at 8am. i went downstairs excited, nervous and sleepy all at the same. i ate my breakfast peanut butter sandwich and drank my hot milo. after a minute or five, i went in the bathroom and had a relaxing warm bath. i put on my comfortable clothes and dried my hair. i brushed my teeth and gargled with my favorite mouthwash. i got my bag with my pencil case filled with a pen, four number two mongol pencils, an eraser and a pencil sharpener. i had my jacket with me just in case it rains. i went to mcdonald's to buy my snacks three chicken sandwiches to be precise. i got to the place at about 9:45am. i ate my first sandwich while waiting. i lined up to get in. i found new friends in the process. i took a trip to the washroom before it started. then, it was the moment of truth...

i went in the room and sat down on my chair. i brought out my pencil case, my snacks and my bottled water. i put my bag on the corner as instructed. i took the test and this was how it went...

First Subset...

Language Proficiency...
it was all good and easy. it was like an ordinary grammar test. i was able to finish it on time.

Science...
it was not that hard though some were not taught to us. it was a normal test if you were to study in a Science Schools. but i was able to finish it though i skipped some items.

Math...
it was the sunset of the day. it was hell. it was raining with thunderstorms and lightning. the heavens were crying so heavily. all odds were against me. i was tortured and torn into pieces. my heart was pricked with the pointiest edge there was. it was as if half of me died. it was the scariest nightmare ever to had become true.

Reading Comprehension...
it was the same experience as the first two combined. not so surprising like the subset before this.

i will elaborate on the math part some time next week...

i am going to sleep now...

BYE!!!!!

and i thought things couldn't get any worse...

today is not a pleasant day...

first of all, our first period is Filipino. we had to write an informal theme. early in the morning, w had to do that. and do you know what it is about? it is about how we hate or how we like a personally chosen character from the novel, El Filibusterismo. we had to make our stand why we hate or like the character. it's a good that i have finished mine. but that's not my point. you see i asked our teacher on where to write our informal them. obviously, the answer is ont he bond paper. i knew that of course. i only aksed the question for the sake of my confused classmates who don't know where to write (whether in the theme sheets or the bond paper). and did you know what our teacher did? she embarrassed me infront of the class indirectly by telling the class that it's elementary or basic that the answer to my question for my confused classmates is to write on the bond paper! i couldn't answer back because she's an old lady without any children. she is about to retire by the time our batch gratuates. so i just kept my feelings to myself.

that's just our first period. everything went fine when the bell rang for the next subject. at least that is until after lunch break! do you want to know why? simply because it is math period. and you don't know what happens in the classroom during math period. if you were in my place andyou are not that much of a sport, you might have cried a hundred times or even fight back by dragging your things and ripping off your math notebook. but nooooo. that's because i'm a good sport. i pretend to get pist off (hoping that will stop my classmates from teasing me). but the truth is i'm fine. it affects me in a different way...

not only that! people in the class give different meanings in what i say. you see, it has been a habit of mine to say "i love you" when we get along and we are stuck on the same quick sand. it is just an impression of mine that i guess would be really hard to get rid off. i am saying "i love you" any friend of mine when time allows funny things to happen!
last, i paid for the math camp that only mathletes who accept the offer can go. my dad warned not to pay if we are not brought from school to ateneo via school service (because ateneo is far away from home!). no one would drive me to ateneo. and i made a big mistake! i gave the payment without asking the means of transportation. now, the teacher-in-charge paid already. i have no way to take the money back since i was told just when i was about to go home that we have to go in ateneo on our own. i have to talk to one student who my money greatly depends on! she hasn't paid yet so she can just pay me up! but the only bridge we have is busy on the phone! i am nervous that i might get scolded!!!

these are only four simple bad things that made my day bad, sad, and mad (not really that mad). yes, only four. but they weigh really big that it becomes worse!!!

and to think that i had a really great time with my best buddy last lunch break...

here's the story...

ha! i'll have to write in another post. i have to do my homework first things first!

bye for now!

classes are freaking suspended!!!

it's the rain's fault. that's it. it's all the rain's fault. let's all blame the rain for ruining a possibly wonderful day for another PALIHAN session. i'm not mad at the rain. i'm just angry. instead of doing something very productive today, i'm slacking off and pushing myself to read El Filibusterismo because I had to. i'm stuck here with my younger bro (i can't call him my little bro anymore because he is taller than me). i like being stuck with him but only for the reason that i am not alone at home.

when there are no classes, the only things that i can think of doing is watch tv, surf the net, eat food, sleep in bed, and when i am feeling very studious, i sometimes study...

anyway, it's the perfect time to rest especially when you slept at 1 o'clock in the morning yesterday (not today since i slept at 9pm last night)...

now, i'm simply forcing myself to read El Fili and do my other homework for monday. i hope i am able to discipline myself to do this. i won't have time tomorrow or on sunday. i can see it. classes are suspended today maybe for the reason that God gave me an extra day to do my homework so i don't have to sleep late on Sunday...

but still...

NO CLASSES, SUCKS!!!

It Keeps Getting Better and Worse at the same time

Mode: sharing
Currently listening to: Don't Forget - Demi Lovato

Things are getting more and more boring for the past weeks since the review was over. I had nothing productive to do after our review. All that I did for two weeks was sit on the couch and watch television. I didn't even thought of posting here in my blog. How lame is that? And check this. I recall saying that I got used to waking up early because of our review but it only worked for a week because the week after that, I went back to the lazy old me. My plans for studying and reviewing more was scrapped out and up until now I haven't started reading yet my school books that I was suppose to read earlier so I don't have to cram reading them during the school year. Still things keep getting better.

May 1st was Ellen's 1oooth show. I watched it May 5th, its repeat telecast, since we are two episodes behind. I have been watching Ellen ever since the start of May. It airs in 2nd Avenue 8pm. I watch the repeat telecast the next day at 12 noon. It was awesome because they viewed the most hilarious episodes they ever had for the past 999 episodes. There was the guest star whose name I forgot. He was the only guest. There were alot of funny videos that were picked out from youtube, too.

Then came May 10. It was my Brother's 13th Birthday and also was Mother's Day. We had fun celebrating it on both May 9th, Saturday, and the day itself, Sunday. We went to SM North Edsa on May 9, I think and we ate at Barrio Fiesta on Mother's Day (which was also my brother's birthday). It was a double celebration. I have to say. The food there was great but the service was super duper slow. If you ordered at 12 noon flat, for example, your order will be served after 45 minutes but not all your orders are served yet. Even so, I have to admit, their Sizzling Sisig was awesome! I liked it alot even though I had to wait for it for an hour. Can you believe that? I even finished it but not by myself of course. But I ate, like, 3/4 of it. It was delectable!

May 11 was the day when I was suppose to meet my friends at Yellow Cab in Katipunan. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to come because there was no way for me to go there, literally. No one in the family wanted to accompany me in goign there. My Dad said that it was too far away. My mom told me that I can still go if I had someone to go there with but I can't think of any. My friends all have their review in Katipunan so it's easy for them to go there. To be honest, I was super sad that I wasn't able to come with because I was expected to be there and I already had a gift wrapped for my friend's sweet sixteen birthday! Now, you see how life is so unfair to me. I felt even mor sad when my friend told me that I was the only blog/group member who wasn't there. It was also the chance for me to my other friend's gift for her 15th birthday since I wasn't able to produce any durting the month of her birthdate, January.

Anyway... There was fun still yet to come that week. The next day was the third long-bonding time for me and my brother. We had our snacks at McDonald's. We talked about stuff, the usua (of course you don't know our usual talks because it's going to be between me and my brother only).

Then 13th May was an ordinary boring day. What's awesome in that day was when it was comfirmed that my mom and dad decided to take the day off the next day, 14th may. It was because someone has to get me enrolled at school or I won't be able to graduate high school. It was funny because the other parent thought that the other was going to do it instead.

The next day was the school's enrollment day, May 14. I wasn't able to come with my mom who decided to enroll all by herself. So my dad stayed at home with me and my brother and had a bonding moment with the his children at home. Things weren't boring that day when mom got home with our school supplies and my books. (NOTE: It has been a tradition that my mom buys my brother's school supplies in my school because his school sucks and lacks school supplies.) My mom had the time to take a half day at work so she went to her office after eating lunch together as one whole family. When she left, dad got lazy and didn't go to his work anymore. He had his nap then. My brother went in the Internet Cafe in the neighborhood to play DoTA. And I didn't just sit there and watch television. Instead someone saved me from boredom that time. Itwas my old buddy and still best friend.

We had a chat about our Electives this coming school year. Her Elective is all about computer. my elective is all about writing. WE talked on the phone. It took us 99 minutes talking which annoyed my father a little since he was taking nap on the couch near the big couch where I sat and talked to my friend. Even though we ALWAYS take different paths in life, our friendship is as strong as the hardest candy there is; no matter how strong your teeth are, they will never break our candy. Only the saliva of death can melt us down together... Anyway... I said those stuff because I am very impressed with our friendship. We've been friends since the 3rd grade, though we've been classmates since 1st grade. It's a long story... but I promise to tell the story about my experience with friendship some other time. BUt now some more updates on what I have been doing for weeks...

After my dad had a nap that day, my brother and I planned to watch Ned's Declassified School Survival after i talked on the phone and my brother came back home the cafe. But my father woke up and he wanted, I guess, to bond with his two children. So we played cards. That was 4pm to 6pm. After two hours of playing cards, I watched American Idol. I have been psyched up on what's going on in that show ever since I watched the top 7. I've been cheering for Allison but she went home already so I went to focus on Danny. But then he went home last week. Now my vote is on Kris. I like him more than Adam, that's for sure.

The next day, May 15, was nothing but a normal day. There's another series that is added on our list of must-watch-shows/series. The series is an anime. It's very interesting, to be honest. It's called Yu Yu Hakusho or as we like to call it here in the Philippines, Ghost Fighter. It started airing last two weeks ago, I think.

Then this Saturday, May 16, came. It's y grandmother's birthday. Though, she didn't tell us her exact age, I willl ask my dad about it. Today is Monday, May18. Last Saturday was the time when I was supposed to get my hair rebonded in the mall but there wasn't anough time to do it so my brother and I went to the internet cafe at the mall and do whatever we want while mom went to buy groceries. I started writing this post at that Saturday but mom finished early so I wasn't able to finish. So instead of stopping it here on what happened last Saturday, I will continue it until what has happened today.

Sunday, May 17, was the moment of truth. I had to decide if I will push through the process of straightening my hair and make look better and look easier to handle for my mom. I agreed for the reasons that I don't have to arguw with my mom, and i wanted it to get over with already. So it happened for six hours. from 2pm to 8pm. IT was a success and I feel and realize that this is the WORST hairdo i ever had!

Now, i must not wet my straight hair. For if I do, I would've wasted my time sitting inside the parlor letting strange people touch and mess up my hair for my mother. I'm just saying that since I went to the process already, at least have to do my job in maintaining it. Or else, my mom would notice that I don't like it then it's likely that she will surely get mad at me. (there are the words likely ad surely... that means it's either of the two and i know that it's wrong grammar...) In short, I took a bath without lettingmy hair get wet. How hard is that. I'm going back to the parlor this coming Saturday. I want to cut my hair short so I can enjoy it a little. That means bathing without lettin gmy hair get wet for one week starting today.

That's not the only thing etraordinary today. Will you believe me when I say that I just reviewed half of Biology today? Well, yes I did. I resisted the television and the computer this time. It helped me save myself from boredom.

So that's about it. i just wantto remind myself about translating something in english which written by me originally in tagalog. IT's pretty awesome. I;m going to tell story about it too. I also want to post about my friend whom, if she were to read my blog, would not want to be friends with me anymore. It's all about the friend who didn't want to tell me her secret until we had a heart-to-heart talk last March. She's having a hard time now and I want to share things in this blog about me and her. It's going to be a little dramatic and emotional since we've been through a lot more than you think. Her, being my classmate last school year helped me know her more. And I think it's about time anyway that you understand her the way I understood her. I am just waiting for her to open things up with me. When she is ready to tell me everything, I'll be sharing a little with you. That is if I remember sharing it to you...

Anyway... things are getting better as time goes by for me and my friends. BUt it gets worse for myself and my hair and the way I handle my time. I'm not really good at self-discipline but I'm trying control myself one step at a time.

So I hope to post about the things I promise to post about. The onlyh problem I have is time. It's too short. and the world is so unfair. We have a computer at home but its internet speed is slow. We can't use my dad's celphone which has high speed because he complains about how high his bill is.

Anyway... I hope things get better for me more than worse...

It Has Been A LONG Time...

Mode: I'm back!
Currently listening to: My Life Would Suck Without You - Kelly Clarkson

I'm only posting now because this is the only time I've got when my hands are tingling to do something like typing.

Here's what happened for the past days and weeks of April...

First Week - Not much had happened except for eating soft diet for my new lower braces. I'm not allowed to eat anything crispy or hard-to-chew foods.

Second Week - It was very challenging 'cause there were two none working days at that week. I had to compete for the remote control.

Third Week - My birthday was a success, though it was simple and we celebrated it at home. It's my 16th birthday so there were many foods. there was homemade sandstorm, baked macaroni, spaghetti, and double dutch cake from Goldilock's. It wasn't very extravagant but there were a lot of foods which I like and love the most! My birthday, April 14, was supposed to be the start of the reviews for entrance exams at school. It was moved to April 15, birthday of my most favorite seatmate ever!

The first day of review was awesome! The teachers were great and very impressive. I just hope the teacher in math who I fear (he's a guy) won't be my teacher in Trigonometry next school year! The teacher in Physics was somehow boring. But, as time goes by, she can pull some jokes! I hope she'll be our class' teacher next year because it has been said that she is better than the other Physics teacher. The English teacher is awesome! There was never a dull moment except when she discusses, which is something she does very briefly. During discussion, she makes a joke. They're really funny!

Then I believe it was a Sunday when my best and I, along with another friends of ours, went to SM Sta. Mesa to watch a movie. And that very fortunate movie would be... "17 Again", starring the one and only, Zac Efron!!! The movie had a sense of humor, lessons to learn, and a lot of Zac Efron!!! It was amazingly awesome, dude!!! You should try watching it if you haven't seen it!

Fourth Week - The last week of review for summer vacation. We still have Saturday Classes for the next school year for us to refresh our minds of what we have already learned in the review. The last day was not really that memorable, so was the second to the last day. Things weren't that exciting anymore and weren't that fun anymore as well. I got bored. The only constant was that I was late from first day to last day! How cool is that?! But I know that I can't do that during regular classes at school...

Fifth Week - In general, I kinda trained myself last Monday, April 27, to wake up as early as 8am. It was because of the 2-week review. I had to wake up at 6am but still managed to be tardy the whole review.

Anyway, since I had no more reviews, I continue enjoying my summer. I already wrote another poem about boredom. And I learned how to tune my guitar. I just had to go to this site, http://www.chordbook.com/ to guide me in tuning my guitar and many more.

I also developed an interest in the dictionary. I know words that I never thought of encountering in my entire life.

I also went back to my piano. I use it every night to pump me up and make me feel tired so I can go to sleep. You see, my piano has this cool feature that allows itself to play any beat or rhythm that I want. With that beat, I can sing the songs that I already know. Also, I discovered the piano keys I have to press for me to play the background music in Jeopardy. I can also play it in the guitar so every time I watch Jeopardy, 7pm on Velvet, I play the theme on my guitar.

And now that I stay home again, my brother and I cook our breakfast, and snacks. And since I have no plans for this week, I scheduled a check-up with my dentist yesterday and today at 2pm. The dentist pulled some teeth together this time. And it hurt the most yesterday after I left the dentist. Of course, the first thing that I ate after I left the dentist is ICE CREAM to cheer up my gums from the pain that they experienced. But I didn't go home empty handed that day, I got a souvenir from the dentist. She gave me my very own toothbrush and toothpaste! The problem is that i forgot to get it from her yesterday. And I forgot it again today. I will have to get it from her on the next month we meet.

It was cool 'cause that day, yesterday, was also my bonding time with my brother. We ate at McDonald's. We were there for 1 and 1/4 hours. I only ordered plain sundae without anything and regular fries. My brother ordered Chicken Fillet w/ rice and drinks. Then he ordered sundae with chocolate on it.

That was the second long-bonding time we had. The first was last Saturday, the last day of our review. My brother and I had to come with our mother to Trinoma. That was the meeting place of my mom's high school barkada. My brother and I didn't want to tag along them so we explored Trinoma from the second floor to the fourth floor then we went to the ground floor. It was from 3:30pm to 7pm. But before we had a walk around the mall, we ate burritos and nachos in Taco Bell while I narrated 17Again to him because he hasn't seen it yet. We didn't watch a movie that time because all cinemas were already starting the film. We had to wait till 4pm. We didn't want to sit down and watch a movie to kill 2 and 1/2 hours, so we agreed on taking a tour around the mall! =)

Now you know what happened to me this month. This is the first and last post for this month, April since this is the last day of this month. Tomorrow will be the first day of May. 10 days from now is my brother's 13th birthday! But I don't know yet what to give him!!! (maybe he doesn't need one)...

Brownout

Mode: Idle
Currently listening to: What Time Is It? - HSM2OST

I can only say one thing
It’s so freaking hot!
I can only feel one thing
I’m so freaking hot!

If you ask me what I want
Cold air is necessary
If you ask me what I need
Cold air is a necessity

Now you know what I have to say
Now you know how I feel
And you know what I want
And you know what I need

So please just give me
Some really cold air
‘Cause it is brownout
And I’m freaking out!

If you still don’t get it
Then try turning off your fans
For about ten minutes or more
Then you’ll finally understand

When the sun is shining brightly
Or when the moon is the only light you can see
And the lights and fans at home are turned off
And you get really sweaty without doing anything

This can only mean one thing…
It’s BROWNOUT!
Yeah it is!
Just check it out!

Because it’s brownout
Believe it or not
I know it’s hot.
For crying out loud!

(Note: These are potential lyrics of a new song. All there's left is the music and a little edit will do.)

It's an Awesome Life!

Early at night I lie to bed
And rise like an early bird to eat my bread.
I sleep and wake up with no hesitations.
With 8 hours of sleep, I have no irritations.

Everyday, there are foods that I need to eat.
They are vegetables, carbohydrates, and meat.
With these kind if foods, I’ll have a balanced diet.
When I eat them, my stomach will have to keep quiet.

It’s okay to help people,
Especially in times of their troubles.
But we must not over do it
So they can learn themselves how to solve it.

God loves us unconditionally.
Therefore, we must pay him back equally
By loving God forever and always,
And our neighbors as we love ourselves.
